I spend a lot of time thinking about food, shopping for food, cooking food, photographing food, and of course enjoying food. However, we all know that good food does not equal happiness.
This weekend we partook in Craig’s family’s annual family reunion in northern MI.
I was reminded of the happiness that comes from unplugging your phone/computer, staying up late & getting up early with people you love, soaking in the beauty around you, and laughing until your stomach aches.
I admire my mother-in-law’s spirit of adventure! She joined Craig in an earth crack that was deeper than them. (By the way, Happy Birthday to the best mother-in-law anyone could ever ask for!!)
We drove, hiked and rode around on a tractor to explore the area.
Landon preferred a shoulder ride. 🙂
We spent an entire day & night at Craig’s cousins’ hunting property. It was the perfect location for a family reunion!
I love these little ladies!
I fell asleep last night giggling about funny memories, itching my many mosquito bites, and feeling overwhelmed with thankfulness.
While we enjoyed some tasty food over the weekend, quality family time was even more delicious!
