This weekend we celebrated my friend Lindsey (and her hubby) and her baby-to-be!
My closest Hope friends and our husbands enjoyed an all day baby shower extravaganza. Unlike most showers, we wore our bathing suits, the guys were invited and played football and bags, meal time was a group effort, we played a couple of silly and active games, and gift opening only lasted about 10 minutes. However, what made the day meaningful was that we were spending quality time together — laughing about old memories, catching up, and most of all talking about the exciting things to come for Lindsey and Joe in this next month!
I’m so thankful for these ladies!
And our fun husbands. We’re convinced that they think this is what all showers are like and now want to get the invite to wedding/baby showers.
Rachel came up with some really cute decorations & favors (which I just used in a delicious recipe… coming tomorrow!).
Shish kabobs were for dinner!
It was a gorgeous day/night to spend out by the beach!
We finished off the night with gifts and homemade key-lime pie.
Lindsey & Joe, we couldn’t be more excited for you guys. Cheers to a fun weekend and an even better month ahead!
