Last weekend Craig had plans to golf with one of his best friends from college. Rainy, cold weather made for better brunch conditions than golf conditions, so we met up with Bain, Laura and cute little Wes at Cafe Selmarie in Lincoln Square.
I’m usually not a huge breakfast/brunch person, but I loved this place and would definitely go back again. Their bakery was full of fresh, beautiful treats — a perfect sight on a cold, rainy morning.
Although the food was delicious, we were more focused on our adorable company.
If you live anywhere near Lincoln Square, I’d highly recommend Cafe Selmarie. From their plum scone (which I ordered & loved!) to their lox (which Craig enjoyed), the food was dee-lish!
Wes was pretty interested in the other table’s toy selection. 🙂
Thanks for recommending such a perfect spot, Bain & Laura! And thanks to mother nature for the rain — I think a group brunch was more fun than golf!
